The town of Kankakee is really interesting. I loved driving throught the old part of town. I wound around and found the two Wright homes in Kankakee. The Hickock house is an interesting mix of styles. Storrer calles it a Tudor style house with the layout of a prairie house. I love the roof lines. Built in 1900, it is built next door to the Bradley house (S.052).

Storrer referrs to the interior layout as a modified pinwheel with the fireplace at the core.
