This visit was a heartbreaker for me. This particular site seeing trip was planned on the spur of the moment. I didn’t have time to do my normal research. I often times will contact owners of Frank Lloyd Wright homes to see if it is okay with them for me to photograph their homes. I couldn’t do it this time since I had only a week or so to plan this whole trip. That isn’t enough warning to be polite. As result, I was faced with the sign photographed below and some very tempting peeks at the homes that lay beyond.
My heartbreak. ;)
These homes are particularly interesting to me because of their history and the stories behind their construction.
